Nemetschek Group rolls out Archicad Max, Allplan Max and Bluebeam Max, three premium AI products built on a shared intelligence platform, aiming to cut repetitive work while keeping professionals in control and customer data open.
The Nemetschek Group, a global provider of vertical AI and software solutions for the AEC/O and media industries, has launched a family of premium AI offerings across its core segments: Archicad Max for architecture, Allplan Max for engineering and Bluebeam Max for construction. All three run on the Nemetschek Intelligence Platform, the Group’s common AI and data foundation.
Architecture, engineering and construction firms are grappling with growing project complexity, tight schedules and staff shortages. Much of their time still goes into searching for information, checking models and drawings, and repeating routine tasks. The Max offerings are designed to give that time back inside existing workflows, without locking data into a single vendor’s ecosystem.
“AI in our industry only creates real value when it understands the project, works where professionals work and connects with everything else on the job,” said Julian Geiger, Chief AI Officer of the Nemetschek Group. “With Archicad Max, Allplan Max and Bluebeam Max, we are scaling one AI strategy across design, engineering and construction, built on a shared intelligence platform rather than isolated features. And we are doing it the Nemetschek way: open. Our AI connects to open standards like IFC and to the AI tools our customers choose, through open protocols such as the Model Context Protocol. Customers keep ownership of their data, their choice of tools and their professional judgment. That is how AI becomes a trusted part of everyday work, not just another platform to be locked into.”
One platform, three disciplines
Graphisoft’s Archicad Max is a premium subscription for data- and AI-driven practices handling complex projects. It includes an agentic AI Assistant (beta) that completes multi-step tasks directly in the model, AI Assistant Spaces that ground answers in a firm’s own standards, and an updated AI Visualizer. Subscribers also get early access to Nemetschek Creator, a browser-based early-stage design platform due for commercial release in 2027.
Allplan Max 2027, launched this week alongside Allplan 2027, extends AI across the Group’s engineering portfolio, including Allplan, SCIA, FRILO, RISA and SDS2. Tools include Feature Builder, AI BIM Modeler, AI Formula Writer and AI Structural Analyst. Early beta users report up to 36 percent faster completion of selected tasks, while engineers remain responsible for design intent, review and approval.
Bluebeam Max, available globally since May 2026, extends Bluebeam Revu with Smart Review to catch design discrepancies and scope gaps, Smart Overlay to spot changes across drawing sets, and Magic Markups to automate repetitive markups and takeoffs. More than 2,000 early adopters reported significant productivity gains. Since September 2026, it has also been free for eligible students and educators worldwide.
Open by design
Nemetschek says openness now extends to AI. Archicad Max offers a public MCP Server (beta) linking desktop AI applications to the Archicad model, while Bluebeam Max supports the Model Context Protocol for Anthropic Claude, GitHub Copilot CLI and AnythingLLM. Connected Studio Sessions link Bluebeam markups to the right location in Revit views, bridging PDF and BIM. Across all three products, AI proposes and automates, while professionals review, decide and remain accountable.
Availability
The Max offerings build on the AI Layer announced in 2024 and the Nemetschek AI Assistant rolled out since 2025. Bluebeam Max and Allplan Max 2027 are available globally, while Archicad Max is available with Archicad 30 and rolling out by region. Features, beta status, packaging and pricing may vary by product, plan and region.
