ZTE to Partner ICT

ZTE Corporation has started providing its fixed network products to enterprise customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company has established a technology partnership with ICT, based in Bonn, Germany, who is said to sell ZTE's products and solutions for broadband enhancements to both public and private sector customers. Their collaboration with ICT is believed to represent ZTE's first step towards establishing an independent sales channel for enterprise solutions in Germany.

By joining forces with the sales experts of ICT, the Chinese provider of telecommunications equipment ZTE can for the first time is said to render enterprise customers in the DACH region with an offer of its products and solutions on the open market - previously, ZTE exclusively delivered its telecommunication products and solutions directly to network operators.

With the objective of establishing channel operations, ZTE Deutschland GmbH has claimed to launch a dedicated channel sales department at the beginning of the second half of 2011; its team will be expanding in the coming months.
