Wipro strengthens its Lighting and Furniture Business

Wipro Lighting and Furniture Business at its signature event "Light & Furniture Show" has launched its  premium range of indoor and outdoor LED-based lighting range, Paris based designer Urban lighting range "Vola" and new age designer modular furniture, "WE" and Toronto-based designer chair range "Transit."

Parag Kulkarni, Senior VP &Business Head, Commercial Lighting and Furniture Business said, "Wipro Lighting is driving innovation in the area of LED lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications. "ORIO" our new platform on street lighting won The Design for Asia -Merit Recognition Award in Hong Kong and is one example of Wipro Lighting's effort towards innovation. We are also launching, "Cres LED" our new indoor lighting range and "Scai LED" our new designer LED Streetlight. LED is a new technology and we have a dedicated R&D team working on designing new products around it. We have clear leadership in lighting solutions for Green Building, having supplied lighting to 75 out of 130 Green Buildings in India. We are showcasing a revolutionary concept for Modern Work Spaces with furniture integrated personal lighting designed by Michael Foley. A signature range with personalized controls adds new dimension to Office interiors. We are launching urban architectural "Vola" streetlight and floodlight range designed by Paris based Designer, Michel Tortel. Range with contemporary styling and high performance is designed for the modern Indian urban landscape."

Light and Furniture Show is Wipro's signature event for launching its latest offerings. The daylong Show evoked good response in Bangalore with several Architects, Specifiers and Corporates attending and interacting with the Wipro team. Wipro Lighting and Furniture team provided technical inputs to visiting attendees for incorporating its latest offerings in their new projects.
