UDA Team at Yahoo Gets New VP

Yahoo! India R&D has announced the appointment of Ashish Vikram as Vice President, User and Data Analytics. The User and Data Analytics (UDA) team at Yahoo! analyzes petabytes of user data with a view to provide deep insights that are used for development and enhancements of our products.

Ashish is a software industry veteran with over 20 years of professional experience in design and development. Prior to joining Yahoo! Ashish was the MD of Kalido International, where he was instrumental in developing solutions for turning large corporate data into meaningful business information for Fortune 500 companies. Ashish also led OAT Systems and IBM Rational Software Group where he played a crucial role in transforming these start ups into highly productive software development labs.

Ashish holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, USA.
