The new SMS service by Taxspanner.com has made the process of income tax return (ITR) filing easy. Now, one can ask any tax-related query by just sending an SMS on a given number and will get the query resolved within 24 hours.
Ankur Sharma, CEO, Taxspanner.com, said, "In due course of time, we have discovered that even well-educated people are not aware of many aspects that are involved in filing an ITR. They have no choice but to look up to their chartered accountants for that. With our new SMS service, we wish to create awareness amongst the people and let them have the power in their hands. They can ask a query at any time of the day by just sending an SMS. We have deliberately kept it at a normal price because we want more people to get motivated to ask their queries. This is not a premium message facility. 24 hours is the maximum time that we have kept for responding to the queries. However, our team at the call centre will do it in the shortest time-frame possible.
These SMSs will be charged at the same price as that of a normal SMS. One can send as many queries via SMS as the number of characters allow. The queries will be responded in a day's time.
