Sightlogix rolls out Clear24

SightLogix has introduced a thermal Camera-Clear24 that delivers Images 24/7 in all Conditions at ASIS 2011.

"SightLogix is raising the bar for reliable outdoor thermal video with a cost-effective thermal camera that provides clear images at all times. Clear24 leverages SightLogix' heritage of video processing to provide sharp images for better security," said John Romanowich, President and CEO, SightLogix.

Clear24 is an outdoor thermal camera that includes an image complete with lens optics, on-board video processing and image-contrast technology. Clear24 is ruggedized for outdoor environments inside a NEMA 4X (IP66 compliant) nitrogen-purged housing. Multiple lens field-of-view options are available from 48 degrees to 4.6 degrees to support various distance ranges from 670 feet to 6,800 feet.

Other Clear24 camera features include 10/100 Ethernet communications with support for broadband, wireless, cellular, and satellite. The camera's open-system design is pre-integrated with third-party video management or physical security information management (PSIM) system environments.

"Our goal as an integrator is to exceed our customers' security expectations. After testing the Clear24 at real-world customer sites, we have found that the SightLogix camera produces excellent thermal images both night and day, and under the most challenging thermal conditions," said Mark Mills, President, Communication Concepts, a Florida-based systems integrator.
