Research In Motion (RIM) has announced the winners of the 2011 Adobe Flash Platform Summit Developer Challenge for Best Flash/AIR Mobile App for BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. Initiated in May 2011, the Adobe Flash Platform Summit Developer Challenge was organized in alliance with Adobe Systems Inc. in order to recognize partners for developing innovative India-specific applications for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Based on the pre-circulated guidelines, 26 applicants were named as finalists in the Challenge. Application submissions were judged by a panel of experts from RIM and Adobe Systems.
The winners of the India leg of the 2011 Adobe Flash Platform Summit Developer Challenge were each presented with a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet as well as an opportunity to participate in the 2011 BlackBerry Partners Fund Developer Challenge.
