Maveric Systems has been awarded by NASSCOM, at the NASSCOM Exemplary Talent (NExT) Practices Awards 2011. Maveric Systems has received a Special Recognition Award in the “Partnering with Academia” category. The award was given at the NASSCOM HR Summit held in the city last week.
This is the first edition of the NExT Practices Awards. These awards have been instituted by NASSCOM to recognize and celebrate practices implemented by IT-BPO companies for employee recruitment/retention, skill upgradation, attrition management, employee engagement, global integration and leadership/career development.
Aravind Ponniraivan, Head, Delivery Operations, Maveric Systems, said, "It is an honour to receive this award from NASSCOM. And it is a validation of our belief and efforts. Our partnerships with leading educational and research institutions have greatly enriched both us and our clients. We look forward to initiating more partnerships and new programmes in the areas of (Software Testing for) Retail Banking, Investment Banking and Insurance."
Winners of the NExT Practices Awards 2011 have been selected through a two-step process. After an initial screening and shortlisting of nominees, an independent jury has evaluated and helped in the selection of the winners.
