McAfee has announced that it is extending platform support for consumers with its newly released McAfee WaveSecureT software iOS Edition. The software enables users to protect their privacy and mobile data, whether their iPhone is lost or stolen, ensuring irreplaceable and private information can be backed up and restored, safe from misuse.

Consumers use their mobile devices to hold some of the most important details of their life. McAfee WaveSecure software works seamlessly to secure, back up and wirelessly restore content on the device via the online portal. So even if the device is lost, stolen or damaged, or even if users accidentally delete their data, the data remains safe and easily accessible," Todd Gebhart, Co-President, McAfee said.
McAfee WaveSecure software allows users to enjoy their mobile lifestyle without worry. The WaveSecure software iOS Edition provides remote location tracking and a Web console to help users find their missing device. Within the app itself, users also have the ability to wirelessly back up contacts, photos and videos, as well as restore or wipe contacts.
McAfee WaveSecure software iOS Edition is available for a one-time fee of $19.99 USD from the Apple App Store.
