LifeSize has announced that LifeSize ClearSea (formerly Mirial ClearSea) now supports iOS 5 and will soon feature support for the new iPhone 4S. Users will be able to instantly connect from any iPhone, including iPhone 4S, to any standards-based video conferencing system.
"For years the market has struggled to deliver interoperable video conferencing solutions to mobile devices - the experience has been far from the simplicity of a voice call. At LifeSize, driving relentless innovation is in our DNA. We know enterprise users, ourselves included, want the ease of making a video call anywhere at any time on any device. With today's iPhone 4S announcement, we're making that possible and changing the video calling landscape - all while maintaining enterprise-class quality," said Simon Claringbold, VP, Asia Pacific, for LifeSize Communications.
LifeSize ClearSea Server is available as a hardware appliance or virtual machine software and includes a state-of-the-art HD desktop client for PC/Mac and Android/iOS mobile devices as well as NAT/firewall traversal and multi-party conferencing capability.
LifeSize ClearSea is available globally · It supports iOS 5 and will have support for Apple iPhone 4S to market in November 2011.
