Dell has unveiled a restructuring of its Global Commercial Channel team with the objective of deepening engagement with channel partners. The restructuring is aimed at increasing Dell's penetration and footprint in the market especially in the Tier II regions.
Suresh Reddy, GM, Global Commercial Channel, Dell India said, "Dell's commercial channel focus is validated through the fact that our salesforce has doubled in the last two quarters. Under the new strengthened structure, we have added more enterprise specialists since we realize that our commercial business customers need direction on how to optimally deploy limited IT budgets. The number of our partners will increase, leading to an increase in engagement level with the customers. Our focus is to ensure that our partners sell solutions rather than products and the end objective is to ensure that all these efforts culminate into customer benefit and partner success."
Vineet Mittal, Executive Director, VSM Technologies said, "With a dedicated channel account manager and increased enterprise specialist people support, we are optimistic that the restructuring will lead us to capture new frontiers in solution offering jointly with Dell. We would be able to offer better customer experience helping them to thrive and succeed in their business."
